Lots of Learning at the Make It Take It 4-H Workshop

Repurposed T-shirts become a handy shoulder bag

A day filled with fun and friends and projects ready for the fair.  Who could ask for more?  The Make It Take It workshop wash held on Thursday, June 21 from 9 am to 3 pm at the Family Life Center of the First Reformed Church in Sioux Center (160 10th St SE).

Sewing,  visual arts, duct tape and more cool projects were tackled and completed.  Participants repurposed a T-shirt into a useful shoulder bag.  They sewed table runners.  Their creativity was challenged with a spray painted canvas visual art project.  They had fun creating things from duct tape.  Look for these projects at the fair!

Hope to see you at the Sioux County Youth Fair July 14, 16-19.
