Sioux County 4-H Scholarship

The following are the guidelines and instructions for the Sioux County 4-H Scholarships:

1) Applicants must be a graduating senior enrolled in the Sioux County 4-H Program planning to pursue a post high school education.

2) Applicants must have been a member of the Sioux County 4-H program for at least 5 years.

3) The scholarship money will be awarded upon completion of the first semester of further education, provided a 2.00/4.00 grade point average is earned during the first semester. Recipients must submit a copy of their first semester grade slip to the Extension Office.

4) Applications and recommendations are due at the Extension Office by February 1, 2009.

5) The selection committee reserves the right to interview the top candidates.

6) Two personal references are needed: one must be completed by the applicant’s 4-H club leader, and the other by a person of the applicant’s choice. Applicants should supply their references with a stamped addressed envelope to:
