Photography-this kit has several good teaching tools to help youth understand the rule of thirds, proper focus and lighting, matting and cropping and how to judge a good photograph.
Ice Cream Kit - Taste test low fat, regular and premium ice cream and learn about your body and the need for calcium for strong bones.
Amazing Human Machine - Choose from seven different activities about the human body. Hands-on activities will teach about cells, respiration, circulation, digestion, bones and muscles and the brain and nervous system. Kids will get to make a lung, use a stethoscope and more.
Table Manners and Etiquette - Are you always confused about which knife to use, whose water glass is whose, who is introduced first? This kit will help teach the basics of manners and etiquette.
Babysitting Basics - teach youth the responsibilities of a good babysitter. Learn what the parents expect, how to care for infants and toddlers, age appropriate toys and games, and basic first aid.
You "Auto" Care for Your Car - do you know the proper way to jump-start your car, change a tire, and check the oil? Are your prepared if you become stranded in a snowstorm? Learn the basics about car maintenance and safety with this kit.
Chemical Look Alike Kit-can you tell the difference between Vicks Day Quil, Minute Maid Orange soda, Tylenol Infant Drops and Treflan Herbicide? This kit has all the materials and instructions for nine different stations comparing household products and dangerous chemicals.
Clothing Check Out Kit - Are you ready to be on your own? Can you sort laundry and do simple repairs? This kit has program ideas and activities to help teach basic skills about laundry, sewing on buttons, repairing a hem, and managing your wardrobe and more.
4-H History Check Out Kit - Just how much do YOU know about 4-H in Sioux County, Iowa and the nation. Check out this kit and learn about the history of 4-H and how Iowa played an important part in that history.
Bubble Making-a fun kit to use outdoors. This kit has the materials and instructions for making giant bubbles.
Water Olympics-hands on activities that help youth discover the water properties of cohesion and adhesion. Good indoor or outdoor activities.
Funtivities-Hands on science and math activities, including activities on static electricity, making your own electric motor using a D battery, making a magnet, chemical reactions, plus much more.
Recycling-kit includes several everyday items that come with different forms of packaging. It promotes decision-making about everyday choices and how they impact our environment.
Value-Added Ag-kit includes several activities that help youth realize how many every day items are made with corn and soybean by-products.
Corn and Soybean Scavenger Hunt-a simple activity that teaches about corn and soybean by-products.
Sport Fishing-kit includes information about fish identification, knot tying, casting and basic fishing skills.
Make Your Own Plastic-kit includes activities that teach about biodegradable packing materials and how you can make your own plastic from simple everyday things.
Shampoo, Shoes, Glue and You-this kit includes numerous activities and lessons about the impact of agriculture in our everyday lives.
Hand Washing-a fun kit that includes basic information about proper hand washing, using fluorescent lotion and a black light.
