The 2016 Four-State Dairy Nutrition and Management Conference will be held on June 15-16, at the Grand River Center in Dubuque, Iowa. The conference will present the latest research focusing on fiber and nutrient digestibility and nutrition to improve dairy cattle reproduction.

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, in partnership with the Iowa Beef Industry Council and Iowa Cattlemen’s Association, invite Northwest Iowa feedlot operators to take part in one of the upcoming Beef Feedlot Assessment Field Days. Each field day is scheudled to begin at 10:00 a.m. and will last 1 hour. Pre-registration is encouraged.

Throughout the summer, Regional Food Coordinator and Horticulture Educator Margaret Murphy will be hosting a Garden to Table Series, with two vegetable-focused events in Rock Rapids and two herb-specific events in O'Brien County. Register for any or all of the events now!

The Multi-County Livestock Workshop will be held May 26, 2016, from 6:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. at the O'Brien County Fairgrounds in Primghar. Species will include beef, bucket calf, dairy, swine, sheep, goats, rabbits, poultry and horse. Register today!
