ADMISSION TICKETS:
Tickets for Admission to the Farm Progress Show site were mailed on Aug. 13 to all exhibit workers who had been identified by that date.

DRESS REHEARSAL:  Monday, Aug. 25:  8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The ISU Farm Progress Show Committee will take care of setting up each exhibit and tearing down.  We ask that someone from the exhibit stop by during Dress Rehearsal on Monday, Aug. 25, to become familiar with the exhibit location and set-up and to make any minor last minute adjustments as able.

SHOW HOURS:
Tuesday, Aug. 26:  8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
*(Show hours end at 5 p.m.; however, we will be hosting a reception in the exhibit area from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and request that each display provide staff during the timeframe to interact with the invited guests).
Wednesday, Aug. 27:  8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Thursday, Aug. 28:  8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The 2008 Farm Progress Show Committee requests that each display has one person (and no more than two people per shift) to be at each exhibit during show hours.
Shift A:  7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.* (indicate on signup sheet if staff will stay until 7 p.m. for reception on Tuesday)
Shift B:  7:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Shift C:  noon – 5:30 p.m.

FOOD:
Refreshments will be available within the ISU exhibit each morning and afternoon.  Departments or areas are asked to reimburse individual exhibit staff for additional on-site expenses including meals and mileage (if not using the shuttle).

RESTROOMS:
Student assistants will be available for those needing restroom breaks during your assigned shift.  Restrooms will be public restrooms located a few blocks from the ISU exhibit.

TRANSPORTATION:
Transportation will be provided to and from Ames to the site based upon schedule needs.   Each  staff person should indicate if they will be using provided shuttle or arriving on their own so we may plan accordingly.  A shuttle will transport from Ames to Farm Progress Show site and back again two times each day (prior to each shift) during show hours.  Actual shuttle times and pick up locations will be distributed a few weeks prior to the show.  Additional transports will be provided on an emergency basis as needed.  Parking is free at the Farm Progress Show site.

DRESS:
All staff are requested to wear khaki slacks and red Iowa State University or Iowa State University Extension shirts.  Please keep in mind you will be on a rock surface and subject to the weather when walking around the show site.  Comfortable, closed toe shoes are advised.
