AMES, Iowa -- Iowans have a chance to brush up on their money management skills during Money Smart Week April 5-12, 2014. Financial institutions, government agencies, not-for-profit organizations and community groups have teamed up to offer a full week of events designed to help Iowans of all ages better manage their finances. Special events and classes will be offered across the state including Council Bluffs, Sioux City, Creston, Harlan, Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, Dubuque and the Quad Cities.

AMES, Iowa — Adventures in nature are only part of the experiences young people will have this summer at 4-H camps offered by the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach 4-H program. Regional and county-led camps held locally and a variety of camps at the 4-H Center near Madrid will give campers a chance to have fun, make friends and learn.

DES MOINES – The Iowa Senate unanimously passed a bipartisan resolution March 27 celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Smith-Lever Act, the founding legislation of the nationwide Cooperative Extension System.
