Stories or experiences appearing on Sharing Your Stories maintained by Iowa State University Extension are available to the public only at this Web site. The site is maintained for educational purposes only. The viewpoints of story contributors are their own and do not represent endorsement by Iowa State University, University Extension, or any of its employees. Iowa State University Extension reserves the right to choose which stories will be made available on the site, to edit length and content, and to delete stories. Iowa State University Extension makes no agreement about the length of time that a story will remain available on the site. Full names and addresses of story contributors  will never appear with stories on the Web site. Only the contributor's first name and one line from the story will be used to identify the story. Iowa State University Extension will maintain a database of all stories submitted. Only appropriate project staff members will have access to the database. The database contains name, contact address, year of birth, and the originally submitted story. The purpose of  the data base is for organization and maintenance of the site. No story will be used for other purposes, including research, without an additional contact and further consent of the contributor. If Iowa State University does not have permission from the contributor to make a further contact as indicated on the submission form, it will not do so.
