Youth Conference

Looking for fun, friends, new experiences, and life on a college campus?  The Iowa State 4-H Council and Iowa State University invite you to come join the fun June 25-27, 2013. These three days will be packed with new friends, dances, banquets, games, workshops, and opportunities to give back to the community.  So pack your bags and have a great time!  The Iowa 4-H Youth Conference is open to all 8th - 12th grades.  You do not need to be a 4-H member to participate in this event.

 

New for 2013
  • Registration will be done on-line.
  • Registration fee of $150 includes t-shirt, meals, lodging, programs, recreation and insurance.
  • Registration must be done on-line by May 25, 11:59 p.m. to receive the registration fee of $150 AND the registration fee payment (check made payable to Scott County) must be received at the Scott County Extension Office by May 28th, 4:30 p.m. We accept checks and cash but not credit cards.
  • If you would like transportation the BusTransportation form and payment of $55 (check made payable to Jackson County) must be received at the Scott County Extension Office by May 28th, 4:30 p.m.
  • If you are a current 4-H member you will NOT have to fill out the Medical Information/Parental Permission Agreement Form. The State will be able to pull it from 4hOnline, so please make sure all information is up to date. 
  • If you are NOT a 4-H member you WILL need to fill out the Medical Information/Parental Permission Agreement Form. The completed form must be received at the Scott County Extension Office by May 28th, 4:30 p.m.

Recap of dates due to the changes for 2013.

May 15 - Camera Corps Application due to the State 4-H Office

May 25 - Online registration deadline to receive the fee of $150 (registration includes t-shirt, meals, lodging, programs, recreation and insurance)

May 28 - Registration fee made payable to Scott County Extension due by 4:30 p.m. at the Scott County Extension Office

May 28 - Bus transportation fee of $55 made payable to Jackson County Extension due by 4:30 p.m. at the Scott County Extension Office

May 28 - Medical Information/Parental Permission Agreement Form (if you are not a 4-H member) due by 4:30 p.m. at the Scott County Extension Office

June 21 - Talent Show Application due to the State 4-H Office
