To commemorate ISU’s 150 years, ISU alumni, 4-H club members and leaders, ISU Extension staff, and various other community volunteers worked together on the construction of seven barn quilts which were erected on the Sac County Fairground buildings and the ISU Extension Office. The Barn Quilts of Sac County was a leadership project developed by a 4-Her and implemented with the help of hundreds of supporters. This project promotes the historic significance of many local structures along with promoting agri-tourism and economic development in our communities.
