are often used to influence value judgments and, thus, make public
policy decisions.
Beyond myths, other ideas circulated include:
- Facts
- Predictions- that may be based on fact
or myth
- Recommendation and Propaganda- another
person's beliefs about what ought to be based on facts, values
and predictions.
