Program offers educational programs which lead to being certified in election administration in the state of Iowa. The program also offers courses which enable election administrators to maintain their certification.

Audience: County Auditors and their election staff and staff from the Iowa Secretary of State’s Office
Estimated Fee: Sessions I and III each cost $350.00, while Session II is 150.00 so the cost of the entire initial training is roughly $900.00. The continuing education cost is $150.00. In the past two years funds provided by the Iowa Secretary of State’s Office through the Help America Vote Act (HAVA) have paid the fees.

Availability: Available to county and state election administrators
Delivery Schedule: Basic SEAT is offered every other year in non-general election years usually in April, November and January. Continuing Education is offered twice every year in April and November
