Your Help Is Needed

We just recently received this information and wanted to pass it on to you—

The Iowa 4-H Center needs to build 2  “safe rooms” to accommodate campers in the event of violent weather.  The total cost for the project is $2,400, 000. They have received a grant from FEMA, but in order to receive that grant, they must raise $60,000 dollars by the end of April.   The “safe rooms” will be used as indoor climbing facilities and auditoriums.

Established in 1950, the Iowa 4-h center sits on 1,100 acres in the heart of the Des Moines River valley.  During the summer months , nearly 5,000 people, mostly youth come to the camps.
