Christa Hanson

Title: Nutrition Educator Area of Expertise: Human nutrition education Additional Biographical Information: Christa began her career with ISU Extension and Outreach in 2002. She has a B.S. in Animal Science from U. Mass, Amherst; M.S. in Population Genetics from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY; and a PhD in Human Nutrition from Oklahoma State. Become coming to Iowa she was involved in teaching and research and received the OSU Regents Distinguished Teaching Award. Through her background in both Animal Science and Human Nutrition, she has spoken to and for Beef Cattle producers and has been invited to speak three times for the Pork Producers in Mexico.
