: ServSafe Food Safety Manager Certification (AD)

: Food safety certification course, offered in partnership with the National Restaurant Educational Foundation and the Iowa Restaurant Association. Includes proctored examination that confers 5-year certification in compliance with the Iowa Food Code. To register, contact Megan Freel at 515-957-5763. All workshop participants must study the ServSafe manual before the workshop in order to pass the exam. Please indicate whether you would like to pick up this book from the Polk County Extension office in Altoona, or have the book mailed to you for $6 extra shipping and handling. The price of the book itself is included in the $150 workshop fee. Workshop fees may be paid by check, cash, or credit card. There is a 3% convenience charge for credit card purchases. The ServSafe certification exam is difficult for most people. To increase your chances of passing on the first try, please register at least 2 weeks in advance of the class so that you will have time to study the book thoroughly. Study materials and practice tests will be mailed to you with your book.
