Iowa Environmental Issues Series

 

In order to make wise decisions, people need a basic understanding of the factors involved in current environmental issues. They need to understand how their lifestyle is tied to these issues and how changes in lifestyle can impact the environment.

 

The Iowa Association of Naturalists has created this series of booklets to offer a basic understandable overview of Iowa environmental issues. These booklets will assist educators in teaching students about topics that affect the Iowa environment.

The Iowa Association of Naturalists (IAN) is a nonprofit organization of people interested in promoting the development of skills and education within the art of interpreting the natural and cultural environment.
