The date has been set for the 2008 Iowa 4-H Youth Conference, Animal Science ROUNDUP, and CSI: Crops. From June 24-26, over 1,000 youth from across the state are expected to attend this annual event held at Iowa State University. This year's theme is "Ignite the Flame!"
Conference participants will be involved in many activities including workshops, motivational speakers, community service projects, dances, and many other fun activities. Animal Science ROUNDUP participants will be involved in workshops with beef, dairy, sheep, horse and swine as well as many of the activities with Conference participants. CSI: Crops participants will use the latest electronic devices and tools to solve insect disease, weed, and plant growth problems as well as participate in other Conference activities.
The Iowa 4-H Youth Conference is open to all 8th-12th grades and is not limited to 4-Her's, so invite your friends! Conference is three days of workshops, community service, recreation and fun-sign up today!
