Now that you have completed your site inventory, it is time to do a site analysis. A site analysis requires you to make some judgments about your landscape site.

Based on your site inventory:

• Is there a need for a windbreak or a visual screen?
• What problems on your site would you like to minimize?
• What positive features would you like to emphasize?
• Which existing plants should be retained?
• Do drainage patterns need to be altered?
