Garden Tour Project

Extraordinary Gardens by Ordinary People is an opportunity for the public to visit the gardens of Certified Master Gardeners.

The purpose of the Garden Tour project is to educate the public about gardening and to raise funds. Tours are of Master Gardeners home gardens.  The funds generated support activities of Polk County Master Gardener projects.

Once again the Iowa State University Extension Polk County Master Gardeners are pleased to invite you to our Garden Tour, “Extraordinary Gardens by Ordinary People.” a rustic setting.

Whether you’re looking for ideas, could use some creative stimulation, or simply enjoy a day in the garden in good company… come join us! Gather your families and friends. Follow up on our tour with a visit to one of Polk County’s many plant suppliers. We guarantee you’ll go home refreshed and re-energized, and ready to return to your own extraordinary garden.

The 2011 Tour will be June 18, 9 to 4, rain or shine.
