Body Mass Index School Study - ISU Extension in Polk County with funding from the Polk County Board of Supervisors and the Mid-Iowa Health Foundation has conducted a two-part study of childhood overweight in the county during 2008.

The date has been set for the 2008 Iowa 4-H Youth Conference, Animal Science ROUNDUP, and CSI: Crops. From June 24-26, over 1,000 youth from across the state are expected to attend this annual event held at Iowa State University. This year's theme is "Ignite the Flame!"
