Milking cow

The Expanded Food and Nurition Education program (EFNEP) is a free 4-H program offered to qualifying youth groups throughout Polk County.  The program helps young people learn about the importance of eating a healthy diet and maintaining an active lifestyle.

School Enrichment
The program runs for four one hour sessions.  Teachers are asked to lead 2 hours of additional activities with their students. For those schools that have a free and reduced lunch rate of higher than 50%, we ask them to complete a teacher match form documenting the time they have helped with the program.
