YOUTH
You can go to any county activity listed in the newsletter.
Read each issue of the newsletter carefully!
Keep records of ALL 4-H activities, presentations, school, community, church, and other organizations for later reference when applying for trips, awards, and completing your record book!
You DO NOT need to live on a farm, or own an animal to join 4-H.
ADULTS
Send a calendar with your child to meetings to mark down club and county events.
Keep a drawer or shelf for all the 4-H newsletters, mailings and record books.
Youth are to keep adding to their record book each year.
Records can be kept in a 3-ring binder.
Parents are encouraged to attend and participate in 4-H events with their child. Everyone's help is needed to make the program strong.
The Extension Office has many educational kits youth can use for presentations, as well as videos, slides, etc.
Read the 4-H newsletter, call the Extension Office, club leader or other parents to help answer questions.
