Each year our Polk County 4-H nutrition program serves over 3000 elementary students in grades K-6. Our program is unique in that we come to you! Our classroom program has 6 hours of nutrition education. Our staff teaches 4 of these 6 hours, and we request that the teacher covers the last 2 hours.
Our program can be scheduled in one hour blocks of time to make it easier to fit into your schedule.

Program Goals

2. Increase in the number of youth who report they almost always are physically active every day.
3. Increase in the number of youth who report eating 5 fruits and vegetables a day.
