Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will conduct Level 1 and Level 2 workshops covering Good Agricultural Practices for fruit and vegetable producers beginning in October.  This is a learning series designed for farmers who sell through community-supported ag or farmer’s markets, both retail and wholesale. Please call the Warren County office to register 515-961-6237 or e-mail Kathryn Pierson at kpierson@iastate.edu

Annie's Project is the agricultural business education program that empowers farm and ranch women who want to be more knowledgeable about their agricultural enterprises. Because the number of women operating farms in the U.S. has increased sharply in the past 30 years, this series of workshops is a must for today's farm and ranch women. All it requires is your interest to learn and six Monday evenings. A light supper begins at 5:30 pm and the program begins at 6:00 pm. Register today for this 6 week course!
