About Polk County Extension

Iowa State University Extension builds partnerships and provides research-based learning opportunities to improve the quality of life in Iowa.  Polk County citizens have benefited from this knowledge since 1916.  Throughout the years we've assisted citizens during times of war, natural disasters and economic downturns as well as the good times.
