Beef is a year-round favorite, from grilling burgers in the summer, to enjoying a hearty stew in the winter. 4-H and FFA youth in grades 4 – 12 are invited to join us for the 2017 Northwest Iowa Beef Bonanza on Saturday, February 4 from 9:45 am – 3:00 pm at the Iowa Lakes Community College Campus in Emmetsburg. This event will be an educational hands-on event all about beef. Youth will see if they can make money feeding cattle in the Show Me the Moo-La game. They will develop their advocacy skills, learn about VFDs and get close and personal with reproduction. At 3:00 pm, there will be an optional tour of the ILCC Beef Facility (west on HWY 18). Don’t miss this exciting event!

Cost is $5.00 per participant which includes lunch. Participation in this program will meet youth's FSQA certification requirement for one year. Adults are welcome to stay for $5 lunch fee. Click here for registration form.
