Iowa State University (ISU) Extension and Outreach’s Flavors of Northwest Iowa program invites you to experience “farm to fork” by exploring locally grown culinary sensations from Buena Vista County at the Farm to Fork Culinary Tour on Saturday, August 1 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

ISU Extension and Outreach Pocahontas County have partnered with Peterson Farms to hold a Crop Management Workshop on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from 9:30-11:00am at Peterson Farms test plot located 2 miles north of Hwy 10 on the east side of the road. Learn the following and more for FREE, how to check for Northern Corn Leaf Blight, Fungicides for Northern Corn Leaf Blight, Soybean aphid update, how to check for damage from corn rootworn, and corn and soybean development update.

There is no fee, but registration is required. Registration deadline is Thursday, July 27th.
