Iowa State University Extension and Outreach county offices are one of the partners in the state who provide staff, a work location, Internet access or equipment for volunteers who offer Volunteer Income Tax Assistance to Iowa residents with low to moderate incomes.

The five-year USDA research project, led by Lois Wright Morton, a professor of sociology at Iowa State, is nearing completion.
