11/23/2009- Pocahontas County Extension Council Meeting
The Pocahontas County Extension Council will hold its monthly meeting to identify programming needs, approve financial vouchers, and address other issues related to ISU Extension - Pocahontas County.

12/01/2009- Grain Fumigation CIC
Continuing Instructional Course (CIC) for commercial pesticide applicators certified in categories 7C and 10. Participants are asked to be seated by 8:55 a.m. for the beginning of the program.

12/02/2009- Pest Control Operators CIC
Continuing Instructional Course (CIC) for commercial pesticide applicators certified in categories 7A, 7B, 8 and 10. Participants are asked to be seated by 8:55 a.m. for the beginning of the program.

12/10/2009- PQAPlus® Training Sessions Set in Pocahontas County
A two hour training session for pork producers or individuals who need Pork Quality Assurance, PQA Plus(TM) certification.

12/10/2009- TQA Certification Training Set In Pocahontas County
A two hour training session for pork producers or individuals who need Transport Quality Assurance, TQA certification.

12/10/2009- ISU Afterschool
Children in 2nd and 3rd grade are encourage to attend ISU Afterschool. Each month a different subject area will be covered. There will be an after school snack, physical activity, educational presentation and hands on activity. The fee of $15 covers ALL 7 programs. Reshow of Continuing Instructional Course (CIC) for commercial pesticide applicators. CIC shown is determined by first client request for this time slot. Participants should be seated by 8:30 a.m. for the beginning of the program.

01/02/2010- Pocahontas County Beef Weigh In
All cattle that will be exhibited at the 2010 Pocahontas County Fair will need to be weighed in at this time. If you have beef animals that need to be entered in the State Fair please contact the office for special instructions!

01/06/2010- Commercial Manure Applicators' Certification Satellite
This satellite program will meet the needs of Commercial Manure Applicators to fulfill their required three (3) hours of annual training for the manure applicator certification program.
