This category includes extension staff, industry representatives, researchers, vocational agriculture teachers, and others. Certification in the aerial applicator category qualifies an individual to apply fungicides, herbicides, and insecticides to all agricultural crops. If application to other sides than agricultural crops is anticipated, you must be additionally certified in the appropriate category in addition to Category 11. Training manual - ISU publication CS-26, Aerial Application Category H - Certified Handlers Definitions – For persons who handle opened pesticide containers, repackage bulk pesticides, or dispose of pesticide-related waste while under supervision of a certified commercial applicator, noncommercial applicator, public applicator, or pesticide dealer. Training manual - Certified Handlers are tested over chapters 1-5, 8, and 10 of the Iowa Core Manual. Handlers are not tested over specific category manuals.
