What is STEM?  How can you provide a high quality STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) experience to your children for low to no cost?  Plymouth County 4-H and Iowa State University Extension and Outreach invite you to learn more the Governor’s STEM Scale Up grants on October 30th at 2:00 p.m. at the Plymouth County Extension Office.

Defined STEM, one of the Iowa Governor’s STEM Hub Grant programs, allows you to combine online learning in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics with 4-H project learning.  The three Defined STEM categories highlighted at this year’s fair are: Wind Energy Business, Engineering Space Robots, and Restaurant Owner – The Clover Bistro.
