Iowa Learning Farms, in partnership with Practical Farmers of Iowa and the Iowa Cover Crop Working Group, will host a cover crop workshop on Wednesday, February 24, from 10:30a.m.-12:30p.m. at the Iowa State University (ISU) Northwest Research and Demonstration Farm.  The event is free, open to the public, and includes a complimentary meal.

The 2016 Heifer Development 3 meeting to be held Feb. 2 has been CANCELLED and is re-scheduled for Feb. 22.  It will be 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Western Iowa Tech Community College in Cherokee.  Please call the Cherokee County Extension Office at 712-225-6196 if you have questions.
