3. Success Stories
Field specialists should check to make sure they have submitted the required success stories. Field specialists with a full-time appointment should submit four stories per year, field specialists with a 1/2 time appointment should submit two stories per year.

Success stories from field specialists are due on or before March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31 for those with full-time appointments, on or before March 31 and another on September 30 for those with 1/2 time appointments.

CEEDs are asked to submit one success story via email to their AEED and the appropriate Program Director. CEED success stories can be submitted any time of the year before September 1, 2008. The guidelines for field specialists and CEEDS web page offers more details about writing success stories.

4. Stakeholders' Reports
Stakeholders' Reports are a marketing tool which showcase significant impacts that ISU Extension has made in a county during the last year. These reports are a snapshot version of the work reported by staff in other parts of the annual report (success stories, activity reports, evaluations, etc.) Target audiences for these reports include community leaders, governmental officials, partners, and legislators.

The templates have been revised to include our new mission statement. Templates and instructions are available at: http://www.extension.iastate.edu/emms/isuemarketing/stakeholderreports.html

Stakeholders' Reports are due October 1, 2008 from CEEDs. We hope that the reports will be distributed in the counties by early December at the latest.

Please send the stakeholder's reports to:
  1. 5 copies to Mark Settle, Director, Communications & External Relations, Iowa State University Extension, Extension 4-H Building, Ames, Iowa 50011-3630 (these copies will be distributed to Jack Payne, Mary Holz-Clause, Extension Communications and Marketing, the President and the Provost).
  2. 25 copies to your Area Director. Area Directors intend to bind the reports and send a set to each county for CEED and FS reference.
  3. Send to your AEED a summary of your plans to use the report. (This is due October 1.)
