Results/Outcomes
- Participants will communicate and demonstrate a personal sense of influence to support parents in their role of helping their children learn.
- Participants will help create a community environment that supports parents in their role of helping their children learn.
Expectations for a Successful Project
Program Fees
- Lead Facilitator Training - $50/person
- Facilitator Guide Fees - $165/notebook
- Community Project Fee - $7,000/community
(Includes facilitator and technical assistance fees, honoraria for session facilitators, session supplies and refreshments for about 20 participants)
Implementation Expenses
The goal of Partnering in Communities: Strong Families, Strong Communities is to integrate proven practices that impact children as learners into a wide range of community activities. While some communities may receive grant funding for implementation activities, most resources for implementation activities come from within the organizations involved as they realign their agency efforts.
