Students spend 80% of their waking hours at home or in the community. Partnering in Communities: Strong Families, Strong Communities focuses on how to support children and youth as learners during this time when they are not in school.

Partnering in Communities: Strong Families, Strong Communities brings leaders together to:
  • examine how their community supports families in their role of raising children who are successful learners
  • identify common goals that strengthen the learning of all community youth

Partnering in Communities: Strong Families, Strong Communities is a community development project. All sessions include highly interactive activities based on local data, current research, and recommended practices. Participants learn, discuss, and plan for applications in their community.
