Sign up now for the 2016 Palo Alto County Clover Kid Lock-In scheduled for Friday, March 4th from 7:00 PM to midnight at the Smith Wellness Center in Emmetsburg.  This event is for all Clover Kid members in Palo Alto County.  Cost is $10.00 and includes pop and pizza at 9:00 PM.  Pre-registration is required.  Deadline to register is March 2nd.

Rural Women of North Iowa- Women in Ag networking group will meet Feb 22nd at ILCC in Emmetsburg from 6 to 8pm . FarmHer will be the guest speaker. She uses photography to show how important women are to agriculture. Cost is $15. Please call Emmet County Extension to register 712-362-3434

Palo Alto County Extension will again be sponsoring two Babysitting Clinics for all youth ages 10 and up.  The 1st program will be held on Saturday, Feb. 6th from 9:00-4:00 in the Extension Office meeting room.  The 2nd program will be held on Saturday, Feb. 20th, same time and place.  Cost is $25 to cover materials and a handbook.  Lunch and snacks will be provided.  Youth only need to attend one of the trainings.  Pre-registration is required.

Join us Saturday, February 13th for the 2016 Northwest Iowa Beef Bonanza to be held at the ILCC campus in Emmetsburg from 9:45 AM to 4:00 PM.  Cost is $5 per person and adults are welcome.  If you have any interest in learning what the beef industry is all about you won't want to miss this event!
