4-Hers in grades 6-8 are encouraged to attend the Quad County Intermediate Trip to Des Moines on Saturday, January 31, 2015.  Plans are to take a charter bus to Des Moines where participants will pack meals for Meals from the Heartland, watch a hockey game, and stop at Fort Frenzy in Fort Dodge on the way home.  Space is limited!

December 16, 2014

All Palo Alto County 4-Hers are invited to attend the annual 4-H Lock-In to be held on January 16th from 10:00 PM-6:00 AM at the Smith Wellness Center in Emmetsburg.  Cost is $15/person and will include pop and pizza at midnight.  Pre-registration is required.  More details will be sent to registered participants.

This is an event where youth will learn more about beef production in Iowa, how to get the best product for their effort, and ways to increase the quality of their cattle for fair exhibits.  The event will be held at the Iowa Lakes Community Campus in Emmetsburg and is open to all youth in grades 4-12.  Cost is $5 per participant with lunch included.  Deadline for registering is January 16th.
