Growing strong Families

Growing strong Families serves families with children zero to five in Fremont and Page counties. GSF is a voluntary, free, home-visitation program designed

to help you:  

·        Understand your child at each age and stage

·        Encourage positive behaviors

·        Have fun with age-appropriate activities

·        Plan nutritious meals and snacks and encourage healthy eating

·        Create environments that assist your child to reach his or her full potential

·        Develop family resource plans

 During a personal visit, a parent educator will:

·        Share information based on your needs

·        Teach lessons on child development, nutrition, resource management, and health and safety

·        Demonstrate developmentally appropriate activities

·        Provide annual screenings

·        Connect you with organizations that support and enrich your family
