Osceola County celebrated ISU's 150th Birthday by adding a bit of beauty to our county fairgrounds. Dr. Jeff Iles, ISU Department of Horticulture, came to help us properly plant our young Maple Tree and talk to us about proper tree planting techniques as well as many other horticulture topics. Also at that time, we buried a time capsule that each 4-H group within the county contributed to. The tree is planted just east of the 4-H Building and the Time Capsule is buryied on the north side of the 4-H Building as well as a flag pole that will hold both the ISU flag and 4-H flag.
