If so, please consider joining us for any and/or all of our upcoming Summer 2017 Garden to Table events taking place throughout Lyon, Sioux, Osceola and O'Brien Counties. From kids to adults, we've got something for the whole family!

Crop Scouting Basics for Women is a multi-session workshop being offered to women who are interested in learning about crop scouting basics. This series of workshops will be held on June 8, 22, and July 6 at the Iowa State University (ISU) Northwest ResearchFarm located at 6320 500th St., Sutherland, IA 51058.  The focus will be on crop development and staging to find what is ‘normal’ in order to help identify what is ‘not normal’.

Would you like to have a first-hand look at where your dairy products come from? If so, join the Stensland Family and ISU Extension and Outreach Regional Food Coordinator Margaret Murphy for a tour of this local dairy on Friday, June 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Receive an up-close look at dairy operations, the creamery and the Stensland's store.

The Multi-County Livestock Workshop will be held Thursday, June 1 at the Osceola County Fairgrounds in Sibley. A Last Chance FSQA Training will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for any 4-H members who still need to attend. The Osceola County Farm Bureau will provide supper to all attendees at 5:45 p.m. and the livestock workshops will begin at 6:00 p.m.
