The Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Master Gardener program will host a winter webinar series in January and February. The series focuses on learning the realities of hunger in Iowa, the best way to work with food banks, food safety and more.

January 1, 2016

     1.  Master Gardeners are trained volunteers who share a love of gardening, an enthusiasm for learning,
     and a commitment to helping others. Core training consists of 40 hours of horticulture education. Topics
     include soil basics, lawn care, flower and vegetable gardening, ornamental trees and shrubs, fruit
     crops, houseplants, weed and pest control.
