ISU Extension and Outreach will be offering two FREE workshops for people who may be interested in establishing a commercial winegrape vineyard or winery in Iowa.  Mike White, ISU Extension’s Viticulture (grape) specialist will be leading both of these workshops.

Topics will include general care and management of show livestock, proper feeding and nutrition, and show preparation. There will also be a question-and-answer time.

The second annual 'Horse Shoe University' will be held Saturday, April 30, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The clinic is open to all youth, with a reduced fee for 4-H and FFA members. Registration deadline is April 23

Throughout the summer, Regional Food Coordinator and Horticulture Educator Margaret Murphy will be hosting a Garden to Table Series, with two vegetable-focused events in Rock Rapids and two herb-specific events in O'Brien County. Register for any or all of the events now!

The Multi-County Livestock Workshop will be held May 26, 2016, from 6:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. at the O'Brien County Fairgrounds in Primghar. Species will include beef, bucket calf, dairy, swine, sheep, goats, rabbits, poultry and horse. Register today!
