05/10/2008- O'Brien County Market Sheep Weigh-in May 10
The 2008 O'Brien County Market Sheep Weigh-in will be held on Saturday, May 10 from 9-11:00 am at the O'Brien County Fairgrounds. All market sheep MUST attend this weigh-in. Superintendents ask that all sheep be tagged before they come off the trailer. ID Sheets and tags are available at the Extension Office M-F 8-4:30 p.m. cost $1.00 each.

05/15/2008- O'Brien County Fair Livestock ID's Due May 15
All O’Brien County 4H Members and FFA Members need to have all livestock ID Forms submitted to the O’Brien County Extension Office in Primghar by 4:30 on Thursday, May 15. This includes: breeding beef, bucket calves, feeder calves, swine, sheep, goats, dairy, dog and horse. Eartags and ID forms are available at the O’Brien County Extension Office

05/28/2008- Multi-County 4H and FFA Animal Workshop
The Annual Multi-County Animal Workshop will be held on May 28, 2008 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Sioux County Fairgrounds in Sioux Center. Don’t miss this excellent opportunity to learn about care, health and showmanship for beef, dairy, swine, sheep, goats, poultry and rabbits. Registration is FREE.
