Soybean Aphid

How much yield is still at Risk to Aphid feeding?

Use the following data generated by a Crop Simulation model to estimate the percent of the potential yield that may already be set in the field.  Possibly more importantly, determine  how much yield is not set and may be at risk to Soybean Aphid Feeding.

The data sets were generated at two locations (Castana and Ames, IA) with a 2.9 MG soybean planted at 5 different planting dates.  Your actual field conditions and soybean variety may vary from what is presented in this data set.

Data set for Ames IA
Estimated Yield Range: 24 - 38 bu/acre
