Case Field #1

Carroll County, Iowa
Crop - Alfalfa
Plant Height = 15 inches
Crop Planted 2001 and 2002 (two separate fields)

40% of stand is stunted with lots of blackstem present, up to 40% of lower leaves dead or dieing on stunted plants (appears to be due to blackstem).  Also distorted leaves and growth on upper portion of plant, new leaves curled and distorted.  Individual plants (2%) scattered in field with no visible problem
