Northwest Area Extension
Welcome to the Northwest Iowa Outreach Center of Iowa State University Extension. The Outreach Center serves as the administrative office for ISU Extension education activities and programs in 20 northwest Iowa counties.
Our staff coordinates with County offices, County Extension Education Directors, Field Specialists, and elected County Extension Council members to place people, programs, and partnerships together. Our counties often work together in partnership to provide Multi-County Team (MCT) programs.
Located in Sioux City, Iowa, the Northwest Iowa Extension Outreach Center works with Northwest County Extension Offices to deliver quality research-based information in agriculture, business, industry, communities, families, and youth development for the benefit of all Iowans.
See our impact statements to learn more about Extension's economic development efforts, as well as ways we build partnerships and provide research-based learning opportunities to improve quality of life in Iowa.
