Short Description of the Program This is a multicultural program that provides lessons in social studies, language arts, art, math, and nutrition. Each student will have the opportunity to explore the foods and traditions of their own individual culture as well as others.  
Unique Aspects of the Program It gives the students a chance to organize and present a Culture Day event. It includes a poster of the Food Guide Pyramid. It includes a rubric for teachers to use to score/evaluate each activity.
