Although public radio has chosen to reduce support of agriculture, we will try to make audio and other services available on the internet.   
   Often on Monday afternoon an audio will be posted on www.extension.iastate.edu    later it can still be found by clicking on Markets  comments as text will be placed on Integrated Crop Management news and also short comments at this site.  
   Iowa Soil Temperature is also found under Weather on the extension home page.  The drop in soil temperature from the 60s to the low 50s in the past week is not desirable for the health  of plants as disease often gets the advantage when soils cool early in the life of a plant.
