The Regional Economic Leadership Forum just completed by Humboldt, Calhoun, Pocahontas, Palo Alto and Kossuth counties is an example of the power of multi-county Partnerships.   The County Directors in all 5 counties with the collaboration of Economic Developers, Farm Bureau, Corn Belt Power Cooperative, Humbolt County REC and Iowa Lakes Electric Cooperative brought together current and future leaders for a unique leadership growth experience January 9, 16 and 23.  Participants were able to build relationships with and learn with leaders from neighboring communities.  Topics and several noted speakers focused on changing communities, the benefits of working together regionally, leading with vision, philanthropy, entrepreneurism and building success.
