The annual event begins Wednesday July 23, 2008 and runs through Sunday July 27 at the Plymouth County Fairgrounds at 500 4th Ave. NE in LeMars at the home of the "Round Barn". The five day event offers 4-H and FFA members an opportunity to exhibit their projects and enter competitions. A five day gate pass is $25.00 with daily walk-in rates availa

The dates for the 2008 Palo Alto County Fair are:
Thursday, July 24-Sunday,July 27th. The 4-H Judging day will held on Tuesday, July 22nd in the 4-H Exhibit bldg.

Guided workshop on using Dairy Trans program to determine cost of production.
07/26/2008- Dickinson County 4H/FFA Fair
The Dickinson County 4H/FFA fair will start with static judging on July 26th, and continue with livestock shows each day, and conclude with the Livestock auction on July 31st.

The Home Demonstration Gardens feature many new and unusual vegetables and annual flowers each year. Featured plants this year include heirloom and modern hybrid tomatoes. 07/26/2008- Little Miss Ida County Contest
This is the 2nd Annual Contest! Girls who have completed K - 3rd grade are eligible to compete. If a girl competed last year and is still eligible by age, she may compete again, unless she was crowned Little Miss Ida County.
