Study Addresses Student Debt and Financial Literacy at Iowa State

"Our goal is to use the information to target and improve our education and counseling programs, and to see how this information can also inform the body of research surrounding college students and their financial capability," Fletcher said.

I think this is a good insight for I am a student also who would like to know about debt and financial literacy. Thanks guys!

You've made some decent points there. I checked on the net for additional information about the issue and found most individuals will go along with your views on this web site...

In the UK students are allowed almost 20 years to pay off their student debts which means that when they start work they are not expected to pay back their student debt until they are earning above a certain threshold.

I think this is a much fairer system than in the US..if students in the UK also fall into debt they have the protection of government backed IVA's to help them out.
